About MeBorn and raised in the great state of Georgia, I couldn't dream of living anywhere else. I grew up in Augusta and Eatonton, GA. If Eatonton doesn't ring a bell, don't worry, you haven't missed anything but two stop lights and a lot of cows. After high school, I attended Georgia Military College and received a degree in nursing. I quickly realized that despite the desire to want to be a nurse, my real talents were in teaching. I graduated from Georgia State University (Go Panthers) with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. During my time at GSU, I met my wonderful wife, who is also a teacher! We have a beautiful daughter, Emma, who keeps us young, laughing and in awe.

How Teaching became my passion |
I did some soul searching one year and realized that I wanted to make an impact on the world. I tutored people in college and realized that not only did I enjoy it, I was actually good at it. I love being around children because not only are they hilarious, but they are the future. Being a teacher, you have the ability to not only make an impact on a child's life, but you have the ability to motivate them to be great. My goal is to make sure every child is respected, safe and is able to reach their maximum potential.

What do I enjoy doing? |
I am Mr. Decompression. I believe that in order to be successful in life, you must have balance between work, family and yourself. With that being said, I have a laundry list of things I enjoy doing to keep myself stress free! I love sports, especially football. My wife knows that on Sundays, the TV will be on football all day. She is very supportive of this and even chimes in to shout at the TV from time to time. I play golf a few times a month but it usually turns out looking an awful lot like playing hide and seek with my golf ball. Finally, I fill in a lot of downtime with reading, watching shows with my wife, playing with Emma and spending time with great friends whom I've known my entire life.
